Out of Hours
When the surgery is closed
We are closed Saturday afternoons, all day on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Lister Medical Centre is only open as follows:
- Monday 7:00am to 8:00pm
- Tuesday to Friday 8:00am to 6:30pm
- Saturday 8:00am to 11:00am
Outside of these times you can access medical advice and assistance in the following ways:
A 24 hour nurse led organisation which can provide medical advice and assistance by telephoning 0845 4647.

Telephone 0208 911 1133. This service is run by the Partnership of East London Co-operatives (PELC) Ltd, a private company which provides
the out-of-hours arrangements for GP's in Harlow and Epping, locally, but also operates elsewhere for many other practices.
The out-of-hours medical centre is located at St. Margaret's Hospital, Epping, although the Walk-in-Centre is open in Harlow (see below). The
co-operative also provides a doctor at the Harlow Walk-in-Centre.
Situated in Wych Elm, Harlow (almost opposite the front entrance of Princess Alexandra Hospital) the service is open seven days a week. The opening
times are 8:00am-10:00pm. A nurse led service, the centre is available for nursing and minor medical problems and injuries. The service is also
capable of providing medication for a range of conditions subject to strict protocols.
