Health Checks can be performed on request and are usually undertaken by the practice nurses. Apart from the usual examination expected, Lister Medical Centre has a cholesterol testing machine, a spirometer (for the investigation of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and a 24 hour sphygmomanometer (blood pressure machine), for the investigation of raised blood pressure.
New Patients
These are offered to all new registrations. At present, these checks are provided by our health care assistants.
